La Relève – U17 National Development Program

La Relève – U17 National Development Program

Given the impact of COVID-19 on our ability to offer in-person events nationally, we are not in a position to offer La Relève 2021.

We are working on solutions so that we can provide opportunities for these two cohorts of next generation high performance athletes for the future.

Please contact if you have questions.

Ringette Canada’s La Relève event serves as an entry point into the High Performance  pathway for athletes. This annual event normally allows graduating U16 athletes the opportunity to take part in a high performance environment.

The goal is to introduce next generation high performance athletes to the requirements and the lifestyle they can expect should they wish to pursue the high performance pathway as an athlete.

With the cancellation of the 2020 event and the uncertainty of being able to host an in-person event in 2021, Ringette Canada will host a series of virtual sessions for athletes eligible for the 2020 and the 2021 events.

The virtual sessions will include:
