Opening Ceremony

Doors open at 6:30pm, ceremonies commence at 7:00pm

The opening ceremonies promise to be a spectacular event; a celebration of the athletes and the start of what will be an excellent week!

 Please note: There is no assigned seating and standing room only will be required.  Rest assured it is a short event!  Please have athletes at the LRC no later than 6:30pm, as they will be lined up for the parade into the ceremonies.

 Closing Ceremony – Wild Out West 

The closing ceremonies will be a Western Hoe Down with a Mechanical Bull and Axe Throwing!   We will also have photo booths, trick roping and a blind folded pizza tasting contest!  Of course we will also have a fantastic, western themed meal!

 Please note: waivers are required for the mechanical bull and axe throwing.  Athletes under the age of 18 will require the waiver be signed by a parent/guardian or coach.  

 Timeline for the evening is:

 5:00pm – 6:30pm The WOW (Wild Out West) Show – Activities (mechanical bull, axe throwing, trick roping, etc.)

 6:30 – supper

 Following supper, Ringette Canada will complete their official part of the evening, which will be followed by a dance and the continuance of the above activities until midnight.

Throw on your best Western wear, and join us at the closing ceremonies Hoe Down!  There will be a mechanical bull, photo booth, line dancing, axe throwing – and more!
Grab your wranglers, pull on your boots, and get ready to be Wild Out West  (WOW)!

Parent Social at Black Jacks Roadhouse

Join us and 500 other ringette fans for a fun evening of dancing to 80’s music with Jelly Bean.

  • Contest for best 80’s outfits
  • Contest for team spirit – team colors

Parent Social Shoot Out Nationals – Ring stabbing and shoot out competition

Rules

1 team per ringette team (CRC Teams  and local associations welcome)

All teams may enter 4 parents (2M 2F) 

Food Prizes and Bragging Rights for the Parents

Please register your team at the Parent Social before 8PM as shootout will be held between 8pm and 11Pm.

  • Great food try Blackjacks for supper – Doors open at 6:00 Dance 7:00-11:00
  • Free shuttle bus to area hotels
