Au niveau international, la ringuette est pratiqu\u00e9e dans plus d&rsquo;une demi-douzaine de pays. La ringuette a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sign\u00e9e sport du patrimoine par Sport Canada et, dans le cadre du mouvement Sport pour la vie, la ringuette est bien avanc\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;adaptation du mod\u00e8le de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e0 long terme de l&rsquo;athl\u00e8te de Sport Canada.
