Phyllis Sadoway

2012

Phyllis Sadoway is a name that has been synonymous with ringette, and more specifically the development of coaches and athletes, for over 26 years. Phyllis has served on numerous provincial and national committees focusing on coach and athlete development and currently serves as Ringette Canada’s competitions coordinator. A highly respected ringette coach, Phyllis has coached teams at the local, provincial and national (Canada in 1996 and 2002 and the United States since 2004) levels for over 30 years. She has also been a learning facilitator for coaching courses and has given workshops in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI and NWT. Phyllis also plays ringette and plans to continue playing for 20 more years when she will reach the age of 91.
