“We are very pleased to declare the 2017 Canadian Ringette Championships a True Sport event,” said Natasha Johnston, Executive Director, Ringette Canada. “We will be running a number of contests and reaching out to our ringette community through our social media networks to bring the True Sport Principles to life.”

“Ringette Canada’s continued commitment to values-based and principle-driven sport is a great example of how True Sport lives from the playground to the podium.” said Karri Dawson, Executive Director of the True Sport Foundation. “When sport is fair, inclusive, and fun, Canadians and their communities are able to reap the many benefits associated with a positive sport experience.”
