Best of luck Steph

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of Stephanie Laurin, our Manager of High Performance and Athlete Services. Steph has been a wonderful member of the Ringette Canada Team for over 8 years.  Starting as a volunteer with Ringette Canada, it was clear where Steph’s passions lay, and she would spend much of her time with RC ensuring that the athletes had a powerful and collaborative voice. We are indebted to her vision and commitment.

‘It has been truly amazing to work with Stephanie over the last eight years,’ says longtime collaborator and High Performance Director, Frances Losier. ‘As we look back at all of the innovative and collaborative initiatives and programs that have been implemented over her time at Ringette Canada, we can see how privileged we were to have a team member that embodied our organizational core values.

As a caring, respectful and compassionate leader, who always puts the athletes and the organization first, she ensured that we delivered on world leading programs and services.’

‘I am so grateful for my time with Ringette Canada,’ says Steph upon her departure. ‘The ringette community of coaches, officials, volunteers and families from coast to coast has proven to be one that is caring, respectful, and so passionate about the sport we all love.  My eight years here have been spent working alongside some of the most talented administrators, whose dream of a better ringette experience for all participants is always the motivation for doing what we do every day. Canadian ringette athletes are second to none – their skill speaks for itself, but it’s the people they are off of their skates that really sets them apart.  It’s been an absolute dream to be in the corner of Canada’s top athletes – invoking meaningful change, enhancing the athlete experience, the wins and the losses – it’s all been such an integral part of my career.  Thank you Ringette Canada.’

Please join us in congratulating Steph on her new journey. We will miss you.
