Canadian Junior National Team selects 22 athletes to represent Canada at the 2023 World Championships
Ringette Canada has announced the ‘Twenty-two (22) athletes that have been selected to wear the maple leaf and represent Canada at the Ringette World Championship in Calgary, Alberta from October 30 – November 4, 2023. The Junior Program will have 7 returning athletes and is being led by Team Canada Alumni and Manitoba Hall of Famer Andrea Ferguson who said, “We have selected an extremely talented group of athletes from a deep pool of talent. I am really looking forward to working with this group of athletes, coaching staff, support staff and Ringette Canada. We are proud to represent Canada at the 2023 World Championships in Calgary, AB.”
Ringette Canada Executive Director Julie Vézina said, “We want to congratulate the 22 athletes that have been selected to wear the Maple Leaf and represent Canada. Ringette Canada looks forward to supporting this group of coaches and athletes as they strive for Excellence over the next 5 months. We know they will embrace the opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd in Alberta”.
The World Ringette Championships will take place at WinSport in Calgary, Alberta starting Oct 29th, 2023.
