Chilliwack Ringette and Skwá First Nation host Indigenous Come Try Ringette Program

Chilliwack, BC– Chilliwack Ringette and Skwá First Nation co-delivered another successful Indigenous Ringette Program to participants in fall 2023. The program, open to youth aged 12-18 who identify as Indigenous, offers participants the opportunity to try ringette for free and learn the basics of the game.

The seven week program is led by qualified instructors, one of which is Team Canada alumna Shannon Bettles, who explain the rules and strategies of ringette. Participants also have access to free equipment rentals, to ease the barriers to play.
