Ringette Canada Appoints New Communications Coordinator

Ringette Canada is thrilled to announce the addition of Taylor Retter as the new Communications Coordinator. A graduate of Carleton University’s school of journalism, Taylor has spent the last eight years sharing athlete stories that go beyond the box score. 

Taylor is passionate about gender equity and community-building through sport. After dedicating her Master’s research to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on young female athletes, she spent several years as the Communications and Marketing Coordinator at Lacrosse Canada. 

“I’m so excited to jump into the ringette world and connect with such a passionate community. I look forward to sharing the great work participants are doing, and growing the game nationwide.”

Born and raised in Brooklin, Ont., Taylor now lives in Ottawa, Ont., with an incredibly nosy cat, who loves a virtual meeting.
