2025 World Ringette Championships – Day 3
Helsinki, Finland – November 6th, 2025 – Team Canada travelled to Finland’s capital, Helsinki, for their final exhibition game ahead of Championship Weekend at the 2025 World Ringette Championships.
The U21 Junior National Team was on the ice first, facing off against Finland in a full arena, where it was local school day, and dozens of local schoolchildren were cheering on the fast-paced game.
Finland struck first, but Canada answered when Lauren Schoenhofen (Regina, SK) scored to tie it in the first. Finland would score twice more, ending the first quarter at 3-1 Finland. The Finns scored two more unanswered goals, before Schoenhofen scored again 12 and a half minutes into the second quarter. Charlotte Anderson (Ajax, ON) would also add one, and the score at half was 5-2 Finland. Morgan Forrest (Ottawa, ON) was Canada’s lone scorer in the third to bring the score to 7-4 Finland.
