Athena named the official stick and glove provider of Team Canada

Ringette Canada is pleased to announce that Athena has been named as the official ringette stick and glove provider of Team Canada at the 2025 World Ringette Championships. This agreement includes an Athena stick and a set of Athena’s new Pro model ringette gloves for each of Canada’s junior and senior national team athletes.

We are delighted to be able to work with them in the build up to this prestigious event,” said Peter Leyser, Chief Executive Officer of Ringette Canada. “ High performance sport can be expensive. To be able to provide our athletes with sticks and gloves for this competition is wonderful and helps to alleviate some of that financial pressure. Athena has emerged as an industry leader, and to see those sticks and gloves in the hands of our talented athletes, who are gunning to be back on the world stage, is extremely gratifying.”
The championships is being held in Lahti, Finland, from Nov 3rd to Nov 9th, and will see senior national teams from Canada and Finland competing in the Sam Jacks Pool, junior national teams from Canada and Finland competing in the Juuso Wahlsten Pool, and senior national teams from Czech Republic, Sweden and the United States competing in the Presidents’ Pool.
