CRC Day 2 – March 31, 2026
Ottawa, Ontario – March 31, 2026 – It was a historic day for at least one team on the second day of competition at the 2026 Canadian Ringette Championships in Ottawa, ON.

In the National Ringette League division, the day started with a 6-4 win over the Edmonton RUSH for the Manitoba Herd. Later, the Gatineau Fusion posted the same score with an upset over the Edmonton WAM!, marking the Fusion’s first-ever win against the WAM! While there was a great deal of excitement on the ice by the players, there was even more in the stands, as a hundred elementary school students cheered for their teachers, members of the Gatineau Fusion.
At the end of day two, the Waterloo Wildfire lead Pool A with a 3-0 record, while the Atlantic Attack leads Pool B with a 4-0 record. The leader of Pool B at the end of the round robin, which culminates at the end of Wednesday, will advance to the Championship Round.
Britney Snowdon of the Atlantic Attack currently leads skaters with 13 goals and 11 assists in four games, while Annie Trudel of the Montreal Mission leads the goaltenders with a 0.958 save percentage.
NRL action continues on April 1 at 12:30 where the Atlantic Attack will meet the Manitoba Herd for the first time this season.
Meanwhile, in the U19 division, there are many teams fighting for the top spots on the last day of the round robin. Team Saskatchewan, the Kitchener Wildcats, Rive-Sud, and Team Alberta lead Pool A with 2-1 records. In Pool B, Team New Brunswick leads with three wins, and in Pool C, the Calgary Havoc leads with three wins as well.
U19 Calgary Havoc’s Asia Mitchell leads skaters with 10 points, recording five goals and five assists in three games. Team New Brunswick’s Arianne Belliveau leads goaltenders with a 0.966 save percentage.
Team Alberta vs the Kitchener Wildcats starts Wednesday’s games off at 8:00 am ET at Tony Graham Arena in Ottawa.
Finally, in the U16 division, Team Alberta leads Pool A with a perfect 4-0 record, the Edmonton Edge and Team Quebec are holding 3-1 records in Pool B, and Calgary Rowdy and the Spruce Grove Riot lead Pool C with 4 wins each.
U16 Edmonton Edge’s Kate Blouin leads goaltenders with a 0.947 save percentage, which Spruce Grove Riot’s Kate Lenderbeck leads skaters with five power play goals.
U16 Edmonton Edge and Team Quebec will start day three on Wednesday, April 1 at 8:00 am ET at Bell Sensplex in Ottawa.
