Alongside the tournament, the City of Ottawa Ringette Association (CORA) hosted a Come Try Ringette session. A beloved tradition of CRCs, the annual Friday morning Come Try allows people who may be curious about what the sport is all about to try it for themselves. This year, over 70 youth participants took part in the first session, and members of local media, including members of the Ottawa Rapid FC and Canadian Para Hockey team, took part in an afternoon session.
Ottawa’s Ringette For All team, which welcomes athletes of all abilities, also held its end-of-year showcase at CRCs.
And now for the competition results:
In the National Ringette League division, the BC Thunder and Waterloo Wildfire are going for gold at 1 p.m. ET at the Nepean Sportsplex. This is the first gold medal game appearance for the Waterloo Wildfire, and the first since 2012 for the BC Thunder. BC’s best finish is a gold medal in 2012, while the Waterloo Wildfire’s best CRC result is a bronze medal in 2024. The Rive-Sud Revolution and Edmonton WAM! Will battle for bronze at 11:00 am ET. The Saskatchewan Heat and Atlantic Attack will meet in the consolation final.
The annual NRL awards will be presented at the closing ceremony, beginning at 7 p.m. 2025-26’s finalists can be found here.
The National Ringette League introduced a new championship trophy last year, named in honour of the Right Honourable Mary May Simon. As Canada’s first Indigenous Governor General, her name reflects leadership, resilience, and a commitment to inclusion in sport. In a first for Ringette Canada, the trophy also features Inuktitut, highlighting Inuit culture and Indigenous languages.
The NRL Bronze and Gold medal games will stream on the All Women’s Sports Network, free through Pluto TV in Canada. Plus, for Montreal ringette fans, Le Nadia is hosting a watch party! Cheer on teams while enjoying great food, atmosphere, and ringette-themed activities at Le Nadia, the first all-women’s sports bar in Montreal, QC.
In the U19 division, the Calgary Havoc will face the Eastern Ontario Force at 3:15 pm ET in the gold medal game. The bronze medal will be contested at 12:30 pm ET by Team Ontario and Team New Brunswick. Team PEI defeated the Calgary Rogue in the consolation final on Friday night.
