Dieppe to host 2027 World Ringette Championships

Dieppe, NB– The world is coming to Dieppe! Ringette Canada and the International Ringette Federation announced today that Dieppe, New Brunswick, will be the host of the 2027 IRF World Ringette Championships. This will mark the 18th iteration of the event, and the first time it will be held in New Brunswick.

 

The World Ringette Championships brings together the world’s best ringette athletes, to compete over a week in one of three divisions. The Sam Jacks Pool is currently composed of the senior Canadian and Finnish national teams, the U21 Canadian and Finnish national teams compete in the Juuso Wahlsten Pool, and the President’s Pool is currently composed of USA, Czechia, and Sweden. A U18 International Development Festival is also held in conjunction with the Championships, as well as our annual U17 La Relève national development event.

 

The UNIplex in Dieppe will be the main venue for the facility. Located in the heart of the city, the UNIplex is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility that has two world-class NHL sized arenas.
