McNally Gervan Injury and Insurance Lawyers announced as 2026 Canadian Ringette Championship Closing and Award Ceremony Sponsor

Ottawa, ON–Ringette Canada is pleased to announce McNally Gervan Injury and Insurance Lawyers as the sponsor of the 2026 Closing and Award Ceremony at the 2026 Canadian Ringette Championships.

The Closing and Award Ceremony is the capstone to an incredible week of high-octane ringette, which directly follows the Gold Medal Game for the U19 division. Teams come together to celebrate their hard work, dedication, and new friendships created throughout the week.

“We are grateful to McNally Gervan Injury and Insurance Lawyers for their support of the Canadian Ringette Championships,” said Jenni Lloyd, Ringette Canada’s Director of Communications, Engagement, and Marketing. “Every year we see the sport of ringette grow by leaps and bounds, and McNally Gervan Injury and Insurance Lawyers’ sponsoring the Closing Ceremony is a prime example of this. Their support emphasizes not just the celebration of a job well done by our Champions, but all of the effort put in by thousands of athletes, officials, and volunteers, which brought us to that moment.”

“We are proud to sponsor the Closing Ceremonies of the 2026 Canadian Ringette

Championships, an event that celebrates not just the champions, but the dedication of every athlete and member of the CRC team,” said Frank McNally, partner at McNally Gervan Injury and Insurance Lawyers. “At McNally Gervan, we see the same resilience, perseverance, and determination in these participants that we value in our work every day. We are honoured to support an event that brings communities together and recognizes achievement both on and off the ice.”

“Hosting the championships in Ottawa for a second consecutive year is a massive undertaking, and it’s local leaders like McNally Gervan who make it possible to give these athletes the grand finale they deserve,” said Phyllis Bergmans and Kristian Ewen, co-chairs 2026 CRC Host Committee. “Their commitment to our community ensures we can celebrate the spirit of ringette and the achievements of every participant in a truly memorable way.”

The Award Ceremony portion also features the announcement of First- and Second-Team All Stars, U16 and U19 Skills Competition results, the team Agnes Jacks True Sport Awards, and the 2025-26 National Ringette League awards.

This year’s Closing and Award Ceremony will also mark the end of the Canadian Ringette Championship’s historic two-year cycle of being held in Ottawa, and look ahead to the 2027 event, which will be hosted in Halifax, NS.

The Closing and Award Ceremony will be streamed live on Ringette Canada’s YouTube channel starting at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
