Ringette Canada Selects Calgary as Host City of 2028 and 2029 Canadian Ringette Championships

Calgary, AB–Ringette Canada is pleased to announce Calgary has been selected as the host city for the 2028 and 2029 Canadian Ringette Championships (CRC). The 2028 and 2029 events will be the 48 and 49th national championships for ringette, and the fourth and fifth time the CRCs will be hosted by the city of Calgary. Most recently, Calgary hosted the 2022 Canadian Ringette Championships.
“We are excited to welcome the national ringette community back to Calgary,” said Jake Clarke, Ringette Canada’s Sport Coordinator of Officials and Events. “Calgary has proved time and time again that they are a thriving hub of ringette, and we are excited to work with AA Ringette Calgary and Tourism Calgary to develop two exceptional events which will celebrate athletic excellence.”
The 2028 event will be held March 26 – April 1, 2028, and 2029 from March 25 – March 31, 2029, and will feature 50 teams from across the country competing in three divisions – U16, U19, and the National Ringette League. The pinnacle of the ringette season, Calgary is poised to host a world-class event for the 1000 athletes, 250 coaches, and 50 officials projected to take part in the event.

The 2026 Championships will be held in Ottawa, Ontario from March 29 – April 4, 2026. The 2027 Championships will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
