The 2026 Canadian Ringette Championships are about to kick off in Ottawa!
Ottawa, ON–The 2026 Canadian Ringette Championships (CRC) are days away, and we couldn’t be more excited to come together with hundreds of Canada’s best ringette athletes and celebrate in Ottawa, ON.
The 46th CRC is expected to bring over 10,000 fans, new and old, to the National Capital Region, along with a large online audience in what is set to be the most widely accessible event.
Currently, over 50 teams and more than 900 athletes are making their way to Canada’s capital, ready to play best-on-best ringette.
The event will be centered around the Bell (Kanata) Sensplex and Tony Graham Recreation Centre, with the finals to take place at the Nepean Sportsplex. The Opening Ceremony and fan-favourite Booster Juice Skills Competition will take place at the Nepean Sportsplex as well. The Closing and Award Ceremony presented by McNally Gervan Injury and Insurance Lawyers will take place at the Infinity Centre on April 3, and feature the traditional All-Star lineups and National Ringette League awards.
This year is the first time a city has hosted a back-to-back event, and volunteers are excited to highlight a different part of Ottawa than what fans and participants experienced in 2025. The 2025 Canadian Ringette Championships were the recipient of a Sport Tourism Canada PRESTIGE award for Canadian Event of the Year – Budget under $1 million.
There is also an exciting collaboration between the CRCs and the Ottawa Charge, Ottawa’s professional women’s hockey team, to look forward to. Fabulous Friday will take place on April 3, where fans who purchase tickets to the Ottawa Charge vs Montreal Victoire game at the Canadian Tire Centre will be able to show those tickets at the Bell Sensplex and get in free on Friday to the CRCs. Don’t have your Charge tickets yet? What are you waiting for!
The 2026 Championship will also be the most widely accessible online. All games will stream live on CBC Sports YouTube, Ringette Canada’s YouTube, and Ringette.live. The CBC Sports App and CBC Gem will broadcast a selection of games, including Saturday’s medal games. The All Women’s Sports Network on Pluto TV will broadcast the National Ringette League Bronze and Gold medal games on Saturday, April 4.
With so much exciting ringette on display how can you not want to get involved? You can volunteer, you can still sponsor the event, and you can pick up some tickets and come and watch the fastest sport on ice. Tickets are available at www.crc-ccr.ca.
