The Golden Sticks have arrived in Ottawa ahead of the 2026 Canadian Ringette Championships!
Ottawa, ON–They’re an enduring symbol of being a Champion, as iconic as the gold medals themselves. The Golden Sticks. They symbolize to all who see them that their owner fought through a season of blood, sweat, and tears to earn them– to win the Canadian Ringette Championships.
In 2026, the Golden Sticks have again been crafted by Ring-Jet. For over 50 years, DOM Sports and RingJet have been leaders in the sports industry and have long been champions for the development of ringette in Canada.
“At Ring-Jet, ringette isn’t just part of what we do; it’s at the core of who we are. For decades, we’ve been proud to support athletes at every level of the game,” said Jennifer Amaral, Chief Executive Officer of DOM Sports. “The Golden Stick is a powerful symbol of what athletes, teams, and communities can achieve, and we’re honoured to be part of that moment again at this year’s Championships.
The 2026 Canadian Ringette Championships are shaping up to be the biggest installment yet, with 50 teams on their way to Ottawa over the next few days.
Alongside the tournament, Come Try Ringette and Ringette For All showcases will be held, as well as a Media and Celebrity game on April 3. Visit the Ring-Jet booth at Bell Sensplex throughout the week to test new products at the shooting lane.
Tickets are available online at crc-ccr.ca or in-person at Bell SensPlex and Tony Graham Arena. The 2026 Canadian Ringette Championships take place in Ottawa, ON, from March 29’s kickoff with the Booster Juice Skills Competition to Gold Medal Day on April 4.
The Golden Sticks will be awarded after the gold medal U16, U19, and National Ringette League games on April 4 at the Nepean SportsPlex.
